Quakoko bible

This is a very popular meal mostly eaten in the South West province in Cameroon made from cocoyam paste mixed with palm oil and seasonings to taste.


Peel and grate cocoyam Add in melted palm oil to give yellow color Mix in crayfish, bouillon cube, some spinach leaves, and any dry fish or meat if readily available. Wrap in plantain leaves or foil and place in a steamer to cook for about 45 mins to an
hour. Peel off the leaves or foil when cooked and cooled down, and serve by itself or with any form of vegetable.
