Porridge plantain also known as sese plantain. Very nourishing meal fit for a hungry person.


Put oil in a skillet and add onions to brown, add pre-boiled meat and brown with spices. Add tomatoes to cook. Add all seasonings to taste. Then add broth and plantain with all other condiments except the vegetable which is added last after the plantains
is soft and tender. This should take 45 mins to an hour to get the plantain tender, well cooked and properly spiced. Add bitter leaf or other available vegetable leaves and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Serve hot.
