Obituary: Former MECA USA President Dies in Dallas, Texas

Maurice Sessekou Ako Enoh, immediate past President of Manyu Elements and Cultural Association, MECA, USA branch, is no more. Enoh died on 8 January 8 at the Methodist Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Fondly referred to as the Iroko Tree, Enoh was born on 16 March 1968 in Kepelle Village, Upper Banyang Subdivision, Manyu Division in the Southwest Region. He was the son of Late Mathias Sessekou Enoh-Akpo.

He inherited the title of Sessekou or Nfor Ngbe from his father and was officially crowned as Sessekou on 23 May 2009. After his primary education, Enoh proceeded to Government Secondary Sschool Nyassosso from 1981- 1986, where he passed the GCE Ordinary Level Certificate and did high school at Cameroon College of Arts & Sciences Kumba (1986- 1987), where he obtained his GCE Advanced Level Certificate
